Recreation play is for all players and skill levels. No tryout is necessary. 

The focus of the recreation program is development of soccer skills in an engaging and positive environment. Practices and games are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the season at Dotson Park. Rec teams typically compete against other Wise County Youth Soccer Rec teams in their age division. 

Wise County Youth Soccer has teams at the following age groups: U6, U8, U10, and U12. Players are assigned to the appropriate age group based on their birth year.

For the Spring 2021 Season, the age groups are as follows (based on birth year):

U6   2015
U8   2013-2014
U10 2011-2012
U12 2009-2010
U14 2007-2008 (Due to player numbers, Rec+ is the only option for U14 at this time)
