Due to rain, Tuesday 10/6 practices are cancelled.

9/26 Soccer games at Veldon Dotson Park Cancelled. U12 games against Appalachian Soccer Association in Russell County have not yet been cancelled. Please check by for away game status.

No changes in practices times tonight unless made by specific coach.  If you do not hear from your coach, practice will take place. 
As of 4:30pm, ONLY K. Fowlkes U8 Orange team has cancelled.

All WCYSA activities are cancelled for 9/8 due to the strong chance of electrical storms. 

Hello everyone,

We are not going to be able to play any of our games this evening.  As of 6pm, the fields at Veldon Dotson Park were very saturated with rain and rain is still falling.  Additionally, more thunder is moving in as well as more yellow and red spots on the Weather Channel map.  An additional cell of heavy rain appears to be moving in from the south.

This is not the preferred way to end a season, but most teams still have a scheduled party or get together.  Coaches will contact or have already contacted teams about post season activities.

Sorry to keep pushing things back.  If this weren't the last time we were getting together, we'd have already canceled.  It appears that there is no way to play at 5:30.

Due to storms, we will delay the start of the 5:30 games until 6:00 and play all games at that time.

If there are storms still present at 6:00, we will call the games for this evening.

Coach Michael Wheatley and Coach Jessica Wheatley have already called their teams off due to scheduling conflicts and weather.

Hello all,

Since this is the last round of practices, lets try to get tonight in.  It appears that there is a line of showers that will move through this evening between 5-6pm.  The next line of showers appears much further behind.  As of this point, it seems feasible to continue on the planned schedule, but if need be, delay the start of the 5:30 games by an hour.  Unfortunately there is no way to predict exactly when this line of showers will be done and when the next will start.  We may be able to play at 5:30 and be done or we may need to all play at 6:30.

As of 4:15, games should go as scheduled.  If it is raining at 5:30, we will delay by 1 hour and attempt to play at 6:30pm.  Check back for any updates.

All games scheduled for Clintwood today have been canceled.  Games will be made up next weekend in Wise via double header games for Coach Mullins' team, Coaches Ernst and Bolling's team and Coach Nauss' team on 5/16.

U6 U8 and U10 games in Wise for Saturday are cancelled.  Due to incessant rain, we will try to make them up on Tuesday (Monday looks rainy again).

U12 and U16 games are un-altered at this time, check back one hour before game time for status of games in Clintwood.
